Microphone Permission Help
Your browser needs permission to access your microphone for audio recording. Here's how to enable it.
Quick Tip
In Chrome, look for the info icon (ⓘ) to the left of the URL - clicking it opens site settings where you can manage permissions.
Why is microphone access needed?
Screenweave uses your microphone to record audio with your videos. Without microphone permission, your recordings will have no sound.
How to Enable Microphone Access
Testing Your Microphone
After enabling permission:
- Start a test recording
- Speak into your microphone
- Check that the audio level indicator shows activity
Still Having Issues?
If you've enabled microphone permission but still have no audio:
- Make sure no other application is using your microphone
- Check your system sound settings to ensure the correct microphone is selected
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting your microphone
- Try a different browser like Chrome or Firefox
